About Arrhythmia
Arrhythmia is an abnormality in the timing or
rhythm of the heartbeat where there is a skip or an addition of a
heartbeat causing irregularity either in fast rates or slow rates. A
person diagnosed with arrhythmia may feel that his heart is fluttering
or experiencing a brief pause and may express that his “heart is turning
over in the chest.” Generally, some arrhythmia does not cause any
symptoms but other specific arrhythmia can make you feel lightheadedness
or dizziness. There are two basic types of arrhythmia; bradycardia
(heartbeat too slow) and tachycardia (heartbeat too fast).
